For many years, she used poetry and art to assist in her recovery from depressionand dissociation. Today, many victims of abuse, their relatives, and friends find comfort, understanding, and inspiration in her poems. Her poetry has appeared in Anti-Heroin Chic, Cleaver, Dead King, Ink in Thirds, Burningword Journal, and elsewhere.
