Paula CliffordPaula Clifford was a university lecturer in Medieval Studies at Reading and Oxford universities, before spending fourteen years as a writer and theologian working in overseas development at Christian Aid. She is a widely published author in both medival literature and applied theology, and has also worked in religious broadcasting, having been a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4's Thought for the Day.
