Paul Julius MöbiusPaul Julius Möbius (January 24, 1853 - January 8, 1907) was a German neurologist born in Leipzig. On the Physiological Idiocy of Women went through eight editions during his lifetime. Originally destined to an audience of doctors and professionals, hs essay first published in 1900 quickly gained momentum until it reached the general public. It was republished and augmented several times in the following years, and caused quite a stir, partly because of the theme itself, and partly due to the fact that Otto Weininger published his own work on the same subject, Sex and Character, in 1903. Möbius deals with the latter in his essay Sex and Immodesty. Katinka von Rosen (1848-1938), wrote several books on education and care.
