Paul J DovreDr. Paul J. Dovre was President of Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota, from 1975 until his retirement in 1999. He was a visiting scholar at Harvard Universty in 1992, 1999-2000, and 2005-2006. Active in the Lutheran Church, Dovre served asvice chair of the Lutheran Council in the USA, a member of the Commission for a New Lutheran Church, and a member of the ELCA delegation to the Lutheran World Federation Assembly in 1990. The government of Norway designated Dovre Knight, First Class, of the Royal Norwegian Order of Saint Olav.
