Paul ErbPaul Erb (1894-1984) was born into a pioneer family in Newton, Kansas. A Mennonite educator, writer, and pastor, he served as Mission Board President of the Kansas-Nebraska Conference and as Mission Board Secretary and Assistant Moderator of the Missuri-Kansas Conference. Erb taught English and Bible for twenty-five years at Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas. He also taught at Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana and at Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He served the Mennonite Church on its Commission for Christian Education, as editor of 'Gospel Herald', as Executive Secretary of the Mennonite General Conference, and as President of the Mennonite Board of Education.
