Paul A KuceraDr. Kucera is an Assistant Director of the COMET Program at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) and leads the international capacity development program. His expertise is in weather radar, development of weather observation sysems, satellite meteorology, numerical weather prediction, and international program development for the modernization of hydrometeorological services. Dr. Kucera received his Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2002, M.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from Texas Tech University in 1993, and B.S. in Meteorology for the University of North Dakota in 1992.
