Patrick OsbornePatrick was born in Lower Gardiner Street in 1971 in the heart of Dublin's north inner-city and attended St. Paul's CBS, North Brunswick Street. In 1992 he qualified as an Amenity Horticulturist from the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin and has orked in some of the most prestigious gardens in Ireland including Áras an Uachtaráin. He now resides in County Kerry with his wife, Liz. Baxter's Boys, Patrick's debut novel was published in 2020 to rave reviews and is available to borrow from over forty libraries across Ireland. A former member of Filmbase, Patrick is currently working on a feature length screenplay called 'No Time For Cowboys', a harrowing tale of marital break-up and the devastating consequences for all involved. He has written and directed a number of short plays including Sam Who?, Bar Flies, A Fishy Tale & Bin Wars! In 2022 Patrick was one of nine writers selected by The Irish Writers' Centre in Dublin for their Duo Membership/Mentorship Programme.
