Patricia R Wickman Dr. Patricia Riles Wickman is a native of St. Augustine, Florida, and author of four works on the history of the people called Seminoles. She is the former Senior Historian for the State of Florida and former Director of the Department of Anthropoloy and Genealogy for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, a Federally Recognized American Indian Tribe. She lived and worked with the Seminoles for over a decade and a half, in Florida and Oklahoma, and continues her researches, with the help of the Seminole people, to the present day.
