Patricia ParadisoPatricia Paradiso has been a pediatric nurse for over thirty-five years, and always wanted to write a children's book to help children cope with illnesses. She adopted her dog, Iggy, two years ago and observed firsthand what rescue animals endure. Sh wants children to understand the hardships of rescues and learn the value of developing friendships when confronted with adversity.
