She was Training and Project Officer at the Women in Agricultural Production Servic, Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN in Rome from 1990 to 1995. Together with the International Board for Plant Genetic Resources (IPGRI) in Rome, she is developing an international knowledge base on Gender and local plant genetic resource management worldwide.
