Pat PattanAuthor Pat Pattan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada where she trained to be a teacher. Marriage brought her to New Jersey where she raised two sons. Choosing advertising and media for a career, Pattan wrote restaurant and theatre reviews and feaure articles for local newspapers. Pattan has been a writer since her school days. Several of her poems were published in her high school yearbooks. Her first book, WHEN WE WERE GROWING UP, is a collection of childhood memories told by people who grew up between 1914 and 1960. Always interested in theatre, Pattan became a playwright. JUS' PLAIN HARRY is an expanded version of one of her plays, HARRY, which is based on a true story.
