Pastor Marsha R Buss

Pastor Marsha R BussMy life's journey started near a small town on a farm in Missouri in the 1960s, where I had two older brothers and four older sisters along with my parents, until I started school. They lost their farm, so we moved to another farm not far away, whichthey rented until I was in the third grade. Then we moved to another small farm which they rented in another small town with only a few houses left. We lived there until a tragedy happened around my thirteenth birthday, when my brother was in a car accident. He was brain dead and only eighteen. I stayed with him and prayed for God to take him, since he could no longer live his life. Not long after that, I saw his spirit leave his body and float up to the ceiling, then it was gone. I watched until it disappeared, then the machines went off . . . then I knew he was at peace. My sister, who was two years older, was in the accident too. She survived but had surgery on her face. At around fourteen we moved again into a house my parents bought, and I started high school there. When I graduated in the eighties, it wasn't long before I got married and had children. I had my second spiritual experience when I had my second son in the nineties in the hospital. I had a near-death experience: I saw Jesus and a bright light, felt at peace and love, but He brought me back. I was covered in blood. My children's father, whom I was married to, died in a car accident a few years later. In the 2000s, I had a small tumor on my left upper arm, and the doctor told me it was not necessary to get it removed since the biopsy came back normal. But I demanded it be taken out, so I had it removed in the hospital as an out patient. Then the doctor told me the tumor was abnormal when they looked at it under a microscope. I believe God was with me then. In 2004 or so we moved to Illinois, then moved to a larger city about a year later. About 2011, my doctor found a few spots on my uterus. I had another spiritual experience when I cried, meditated, and fasted for days. I gave myself completely to God, then my tumors disappeared. I now have a binding contract with Him, to tell God's truth and preach the gospel. I did Bible college on the internet. Now I preach, help people, and try to make our cities and state better and safer places to live through my organization and site, Celebrate Life: Celebratelifeinpeoria.org. Now you know me, my life and what it means to be a faithful child of God. Read More Read Less
