Panchanathan ManivasaganDr. Panchanathan Manivasagan is a Research Professor in the Department of Applied Chemistry, Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT), South Korea. He worked as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineerig, Korea University, and also worked as a Research Visiting Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Pukyong National University in previous years. His research program is mainly based on the synthesis of near-infrared (NIR)-absorbing metal nanoparticles and their biomedical applications such as chemotherapy, phototherapy, chemodynamic therapy, sonodynamic therapy, immunotherapy, starvation therapy, and multimodal imaging (in vivo fluorescence imaging, photoacoustic imaging, CT imaging, and MR imaging).
