She was the Founder and former CEO of Stop the Silence(R) Stop Child Sexual Abuse, Inc. and, when Stop the Silence(R) became a Department of the Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma (IVAT) in January 2021, she became its' Director. She is also a public health professor.
