Pamela IrvingPamela grew up on the coast south of Adelaide and trained as a lab technician in the Royal Adelaide Hospital before moving to Sydney in her early twenties. Wanderlust drove her to her first long overseas trip in the seventies, and even now every yearfinds her somewhere on the trail, usually with a backpack. After a few years away, Pamela returned to Adelaide to do an Arts degree at Flinders University before going back to laboratory work. She now lives on the northern beaches in Sydney where she had a career change and taught English as a Second Language to health professionals.
