Pablo Ortega LópezPablo Ortega López (POL) is a distinguished award-winning Ecuadorian visual development artist who has had a long career in illustration. He has published thousands of drawings in books, newspapers, and magazines, as well as 2D and 3D animations in vdeo documentaries and television shows and commercials. Since 2006, he lives in California. He has illustrated dozens of books. In addition, he is the author of the texts and drawings of the educational cartoon Las aventuras de Don Elhoy in the newspaper Hoy (Quito, Ecuador, 2000), the 2003 comic adaptation of the comedy La comedia inmortal by of the Ecuadorian classic writer of the early 20th century Pablo Palacio, the caricature Tobías the vagabond for the newspaper El Quiteño (Ecuador, 2011) and Pelucolandia La Criolla (2012) a comic series on Ecuadorian Economic History, among others.
