P D CottonDavid Cotton born December 16, 1945 in Raleigh North Carolina. Moved to California at the age of 14 years with his family. Serviced in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969 with the 8th Medical Battalion and the 596th Signal Company in Viet Nam. He worked in he medical field for over 40 years and retired from the Arizona Department of Correction in 2008 as a Medical Technician. David has also been a Historian and re-enactor since 1982 and re-enacts in central and southern California with the Fort Tejon Historical Association. He is a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Camp 1525 and The Society of Civil War Surgeons also a member of the Viet Nam Veterans of America (VVA) chapter 432, Phoenix AZ. David spends his time when not re-enacting or lecturing history as a Ham Radio Operator serving his community with The Maricopa County Emergency Communications Group. David has two wonderful sons, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He lives in Phoenix Az. with his beautiful wife of over 45 years. Read More Read Less
