Om PalDr. Om Pal received his PhD in field of Cryptographic Key Management from Jamia Millia Islamia. He has 15 years of academic and research experience in various areas of Computer Science. He has evolved and worked on many research projects of national nterest. His present role includes drafting of R&D policies, monitoring the progress of R&D projects, screening/short listing/evaluation of new R&D proposals. Previously he has worked at Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) as a Sr. Technical Officer and as an IT Resource Person in National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). During tenure at C-DAC, he has taught various academic subjects along with research activities. He has filed patents on Conditional Access Systems and Cryptographic Systems. He has published many research papers in international journals and conferences.
