O A ElrahmanSam Elrahman is Senior Research Scholar at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Center for Transportation Infrastructure and Environment, focusing on the links between transport, health, and collaborative governance. He is the author of numerous peer-rviewed papers and reports, and serves on the editorial board of several scholarly journals. Prior to academia he worked in environmental analysis, policy, transit, project development, economic development for the New York State Department of Transportation. Dr. Elrahman serves on national research study panels for the National Cooperative Highway Research Program, is Co-Chair of the Transportation Research Board's Standing Committee on International Cooperation, and the recipient of several awards.
