Nur Izyan Binti Wan AzeleeDr Nur Izyan is an associate research fellow at the Institute of Bioproduct Development (IBD), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and a senior lecturer in Chemical and Energy Engineering, UTM since 2018. She has obtained both of her bachelor's degre as well as completed her Ph.D. in Bioprocess Engineering from UTM. Her previous experience as a post-doctorate fellow after obtaining her Ph.D. in 2017 has focused on utilization of pineapple waste for sugar production. Her research expertise is focusing on enzyme technology, enzyme immobilization, carbohydrate analysis, biomass pretreatment, bioconversion, process optimization and enzyme kinetics.
