Norman M SinelNorman Sinel grew up in New Haven, Connecticut, a first generation American, whose parents, Nathan and Mona Sinel, were born in Russia. He received a BA in English from Yale and a law degree from Stanford. In the 1970's he was the Senior Vice Presidet and General Counsel of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and then spent the rest of his lawyering career as a Partner in Arnold & Porter, a large multi-national law firm.
