Norma KingNorma was born in Kalgoorlie in 1922. A life member of the Eastern Goldfields Historical Society, she spent her life living and recording history in the region. Her work on social history was particularly important, documenting where people in the Godfields came from, where they stayed and what they achieved. In 2013, she received the OAM (Order of Australia) for her service to the Community as a Historian. In 2014 she was included in Kalgoorlie's walk of fame in Hannan Street. Read More Read Less
