Norbert SchillerNorbert Schiller has lived and worked as a news photographer in the Middle East and Africa for nearly three decades, developing a deep understanding of its people and cultures. His main work was for the New York Times, Associated Press, AgenceFrance Presse, European Pressphoto Agency, United Press International, Getty Images, and Der Spiegel. Schiller is now the curator of Photorientalist.org, an online museum dedicated to the preservation of historic images from the Middle East and North Africa. His publications include A Million Steps: Discovering the Lebanon Mountain Trail, 28 Days that Changed Lebanon, Arak and Mezze: The Taste of Lebanon and Wines of Lebanon - winner of the Gourmand Award. He lives between Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Beirut, Lebanon.
