Norbert HannigNorbert Hannig was born in 1923 in Pombsen, Silesia, one of seven children. He was married on Christmas Day 1945. In 1956 he joined the Bundesluftwaffe, took a jet refresher course and became squadron and wing CO, retiring in 1976 as Staff Officer, Lftwaffe High Command, Bonn.
