Nolan FondrenI was born in Fort Worth, Texas and have lived here or in one of its suburbs for over 65 years. I was a teacher for 43 years. I have taught swimming, lifesaving, canoeing, rowing, small boat safety, sailing, first aid, and CPR. I then taught Chemistr, Physical Science, Biology, Organic Chemistry, Environmental Science, Algebra, Life Science, Cheerleading and Choir. I spent 19 years with a scout pack and scout troop, and counseled 43 merit badges. And I spent over 150 nights in camp as chaperone and teacher for many weekend programs. I teach Bible studies even now. I fell in love with knights and chivalry after seeing the TV series called The Legends of Sir Lancelot with its theme song In days of old when knights were bold, the boldest knight was Lancelot.
