Noel CastreeNoel Castree is a Professor of Society & Environment at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He has applied Marxist political economy to understand global environmental change and policy. His recent research explores how different forms f expertise jostle to gain traction in public understandings of the Earth and its future trajectories. He is the managing editor of the peer review journal Progress in Human Geography, co-editor of the book David Harvey: A Critical Reader (2007) and author of Making Sense of Nature (2014). His recent articles have appeared in Anthropocene Review, Environmental Humanities and Ambio, among others.
