Nigel PearceNigel's life was saved by creative writing and academia. He had been a runaway to the counterculture in London as a young teenager with all the accompanying chaos. He was later taken into County Council Child Care and then transferred to the psychiatic system. His life spiralled out of control until he began to write seriously and study.
