An established playwright, her plays have been produced at venues as diverse as the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Arena Stage, MetroStage, Source Theater, Round HouseTheater, House of Ruth Homeless Shelter, Oak Hill Youth Reformatory, and the U.S. Capitol. Nicole Burton is also Publisher of Apippa Publishing Company, which publishes literary work across genres. Adamson's 1969 is her first novel.
