Nicola Martin

Nicola MartinN-GB" data-contrast="none"> has worked in education since 1982 and in universities since 1993. As Professor of Social Justice and Inclusive Education at London South Bank University, Nicola conducted research into embedding inclusive practice into all aspects of student experience under the Universal Design for Learning umbrella. Her research is collaborative and includes insights from students and professional services colleagues, as well as people with researcher in their job title. Having worked in professional services and academic roles, Nicola is clear about the importance of teamwork and joined-up thinking which places students at the heart of the conversation.  Nicola currently leads the Building Future Communities Research Centre at LSBU.
