Nicola J RowleyNicola J Rowley is the award-winning author of children's picture books James and the Amazing Gift and James and the Birthday Balloon. She initially trained as a Journalist and began her career in local radio, before working nationally and internatioally in broadcasting as a Reporter and Newsreader. A career in Communications beckoned, and she worked both in agency and in-house for more than a decade on some of the UK's most successful stunts, campaigns and launches. In March of 2019, Nicola launched her Communications Agency, NJRPR. She now helps female entrepreneurs and brands in the entertainment and leisure industries get noticed through strategic PR storytelling. Mug the Wumph the Dancing Wizard is Nicola's third children's book, and her first middle grade story and is based on a character created by her dad when she was nine years old.
