Nguyen TraiNguyen Trai (1380-1442) is one of the great poets of Vietnamese history. A national hero both for his poetry and his role in overthrowing the Minh Dynasty, which had controlled Vietnam for centuries, his poetry has had a major impact in Vietnam.
