Natli K VanderwerkenIn her debut novel, Natli VanDerWerken has written an intriguing YA Fantasy novel, Red Dragon's Keep, first book in The Dragon's Children series. She loves the idea of dragons; the myths and the stories. Red Dragon's Keep grew out of a story she toldto her grandchildren one Christmas Eve. When she was young, Natli wrote stories just for herself in which she was always the hero. She thought she might be a veterinarian, a chemical engineer, or an astronaut. She joined the Navy instead and served as a meteorologist and anti-submarine warfare specialist. She holds a BS and MS in Computer Systems. She is a website designer and shows Shetland Sheepdogs.
