Nathan MaherNathan Maher was born in Des Moines, IA and grew up in West Burlington, IA. They started writing at a young age, even attending multiple writing conferences and Creative Writing Workshops. They graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in Englih Literature, with emphasis in Classics and Creative Writing in 2005. They have been self-publishing since 2010, with several fiction titles and tabletop roleplaying games. In 2017, they won the Royal Dragonfly Book Award in Middle Grade Fiction for "Lights Out - Book 1". In March 2020, they started their own bookstore called NRM Books, which focuses on spooky and pop culture fiction, tabletop roleplaying games and graphic novels.
