Nathan J KellyNathan J. Kelly is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Tennessee. He received an MA and Ph.D. in political science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a BA from Wheaton College (IL). He is the winner of th Raymond Dawson Fellowship and the James Prothro Award from the University of North Carolina Department of Political Science and was named a finalist for the E. E. Schattschneider Award for the best dissertation in American politics, awarded by the American Political Science Association. His research, supported in part by a grant from the National Science Foundation, has appeared in various journals, including the American Journal of Political Science and Political Analysis.
