Jecker is a philosopher and Professor of Ethics at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Department of Medical History and Ethics, where she also holds appointments in the Department of Philosophy and School of Law. Dr. Jecker hasauthored over 100 articles and chapters on ethics and health care, which have appeared in The Journal of the American Medical Association, the Hastings Center Report, The Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, and other publications.
