Nancy N GussNancy Nason Guss has dedicated her life to working with children and helping them appreciate our world and all the people in it. A retired educator of 37 years, she was a principal at two education centers, both of which served extremely at-risk yout. It was through these special places where she used research to develop systems that help students resolve conflicts, learn to believe in themselves, and gain essential life skills, as well as earning their credits and diplomas. For over eleven years, she served as an assistant principal at a large middle/high school, and she taught middle and high school English/language arts for over 20 years. As a parent and educator, she inspired children to create from the heart, whether it was poetry, prose, or any other form of visual expression. During her retirement, she continues this mission through her writing and work with children. She holds a master's degree in educational leadership and a bachelor's degree in speech communication/English education, both from the University of South Florida. Read More Read Less
