Nancy DaFoeAuthor/educator Nancy Avery Dafoe won the Faulkner/Wisdom Creative Writing Competition in poetry (2016). She writes fiction, nonfiction, and poetry and has thirteen published books. Her poetry chapbooks and book include The House Was Quiet, But the Mnd Was Anxious, Innermost Sea and Poets Diving in the Night (FLP). Dafoe has books on education and writing published through Rowman & Littlefield Education. She also has two memoirs (SUNY Press and Pen Women Press) and three murder mysteries (RPP), in addition to a novella Naimah and Ajmal on Newton's Mountain (FLP).
