Nancy CramerAs a public-school teacher, I taught children and adults for nearly 30 years. During that time, I also had a part-time private practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor for nearly 20 years. I have written curriculum for elementary science classesand National World War I materials; judged the Greater Kansas City Science Fair for 35 years, the Optimist Club Students Oratorical and Harry S. Truman History contests for four years. I am the author of five books on World War I. The last one Is the epic story of the retreat in 1915 of the Serbian army from their enemies. When I first visited Serbia in 2012, I knew I had to write the book. Also have shared my 63 tours abroad including a series of Traveling Abroad with slide shows and six PowerPoint presentations on subjects relating to WWI. I have served as a volunteer at the National World War I Museum and Memorial for the past eight years. My latest activity is portraying Bess Truman with Dr. Niel Johnson who has been impersonating President Harry S. Truman for 25 years.
