Nancy AveryAs a young girl Nancy Avery knew she wanted to become a teacher. Her mother was her inspiration, who taught elementary school for 37 years! After 30 wonderful years of teaching elementary school herself, she retired in 2018. Her love of children motiated her to write her first of a series of books about Australia. Nancy wanted to find a way to hook her students interest before introducing a geography lesson about Australia.
