His research includes work on the Arab-Israeli conflict, Israeli and Palestinian societies, the dynamics of protracted social conflict, collective identity and democratic citizenship in multi-ethnic states, the questions of reconciliation and multicultural citizenship, transitional justice, and international negotiations.
