N K AnandProfessor N. K. Anand is a Regents Professor and James J. Cain '51 Professor III of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He teaches and researches in the broad area of thermal sciences. Professor Anand is a recipient of the Association Forer Students Distinguished Achievement Award in Teaching at the college level. He is an ASME Fellow and was awarded the 2020 ASME Harry Potter Gold Medal for 'outstanding contributions as a teacher of thermodynamics and related topics, and as a researcher who has advanced the state-of-the-art design of alternate refrigerant condensers, cooling strategies for electronic packages and aerosol transport lines'.
