Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge USA) is currently a Professor of Microbiology and Biotechnology at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Fl. USA, where he microbial biotech laboratory integrates environmental genomics and health risk assessment with rapid pathogen detection using synthetic biology. Her research interests in agriculture and health include molecular ecology of plant invasion, soil fertility, and the applications of microbiomes in humans and plants.
