Murray ScherMurray Scher holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. He was Professor of Psychology at Tusculum College in Greeneville, TN. He has been in private practice for more than four decades. He is a past President and Felow of the American Academy of Psychotherapists as well as a Fellow of the American Psychological Association. He is extensively published and has presented widely. His particular interests are gender issues in psychotherapy, especially the intersection of male gender roles and psychotherapy.
