Munshi Muhammad Abdul Kader JilaniMunshi Muhammad Abdul Kader Jilani is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at the Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management (BIGM), University of Dhaka (Affiliated), Bangladesh. He obtained PhD in Knowledge Management from the chool of Management, Wuhan University of Technology, under a CSC scholarship. A recipient of the prestigious ICCR scholarship, he holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM) at the University of Calcutta, India. Before that, he graduated with his BBA (Honors) and MBA in International Management from the Department of Management at the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. With over fourteen years of experience in academia, Dr. Jilani has an extensive teaching portfolio that includes prior roles in the Department of Management and Human Resource Management at City University, the University of Information Technology and Science (UITS), and Army Institute of Business Administration (AIBA) in Bangladesh. Before his academic career, he was part of the HR team at Youngone Corporation Chittagong, one of Bangladesh’s most prominent manufacturing sectors. Dr. Jilani is a prolific scholar, having contributed extensively to various international refereed journals. His works are featured in esteemed publications such as Management Research Review, Journal of Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Sustainability Journal, Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Heliyon Journal, Social Sciences & Humanities Open, and Journal on Innovation and Sustainability RISUS. His research interests are diverse and encompass human resource management and development, public policy, organizational resilience, employee wellbeing, knowledge management, and employee engagement. Currently, Dr. Jilani leads postgraduate HRM courses at BIGM and is actively involved in academic and policy research supervision at various levels. He is also a certified paper reviewer for several top-tier journals, including the Journal of Community Psychology, Information Technology & People, Management Research Review, Psychology Research and Behavior Management, International Journal of Innovation Science, Sage Open, and Journal of Healthcare Leadership, among others. His contributions to the academic community include roles such as organizing committee member, session chair, and discussant at numerous national and international conferences.
