Montserrat Del Amo

Montserrat del Amo (Madrid, 1927-2015). Escritora y licenciada en Filosofía y Letras, su experiencia profesional estuvo ligada desde un principio a la literatura infantil y juvenil, al teatro, la historia y el ensyo. Con más de cincuenta obras publicadas y una amplia trayectoria en animación a la lectura y narración oral, obtuvo el Premio Nacional de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil de España y el Premio Lazarillo.

A writer with a degree in Philosophy and Letters, her professional career was closely tied from the beginning to children's and young adult literature, as well as theater, history, and essays. With more than fifty published works and extensive experience in reading promotion and oral storytelling, she received the Spanish National Children's and Young Adult Literature Award and the Lazarillo Prize.
