She is a licensed clinical social worker and mental health professional, with a passion to help improve the quality of the lives of people through the mpowerment found by overcoming adversity, whether the source of adversity is situational, environmental, biological, medical, or internal. Monte received her BA in English from UCLA, in 2008 and her Masters in Social Welfare from UCLA, in 2011.
