Moly KuruvillaMoly Kuruvilla has triple post-graduation, in the disciplines of Zoology, Education and Women’s Studies with her PhD awarded from the Department of Education, University of Calicut, India on the interdisciplinary topic of Maternal Employment and Adolscent Achievement. She became the Founding Director of the Department of Women’s Studies, University of Calicut, India in 2005 which she has headed for 11 years and currently she is a Professor at the Department. She has adorned various prestigious positions in the University and is a member of several academic and evaluation bodies both within and outside the country. With nearly three decades of teaching, research and counseling experiences, she contributes immensely to the scholarship of Education and Women’s Studies. She is the author of several books and publications in international journals. She is actively involved in capacity building of women at various levels and gender sensitization trainings to men and women in all walks of life.
