Molly LongweMolly Longwe holds a Doctorate in Gender and Religion and a Master's Degree in Theology (African Christianity), both from the University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. She has served as a Lecturer at the Baptist Theological Seminary of Malawi (BTSM)for fifteen years. She is now a Lecturer at the University of Livingstonia in Ekwendeni, Malawi, in the Factulty of Theology. She is also an external supervisor with the Department of Theology and Religious Studies of Mzuzu University. Dr Longwe is a member of the Circle of Concerned African Women Theologians. She has published a number of articles in the area of gender justice and a book on girls' education. In addition, she is a pastor's wife in the Baptist Convention of Malawi (BACOMA).
