Molly KaneMolly Kane has over thirty years experience in the field of social justice, human rights and international cooperation, providing leadership in policy analysis, research and advocacy; coalition building; and organizational management and development.She was Executive Director of the Canadian social justice organization, Inter Pares, from 1996 to 2009. While on sabbatical leave from Inter Pares during the academic year 2005-06, she was a visiting adjunct assistant professor in the department of Global Development Studies, Queen's University, where she taught and carried out research on the political economy of aid and international NGOs. Since leaving Inter Pares she has worked with the ETC Group, Pambazuka News, the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace, AWID (Association for Women's Rights in Development), Spring Strategies, and Entraide missionnaire. She was the founding co-chair of the Africa Canada Forum from 1999 to 2005, member of the Board of Trustees of Agency for Cooperation and Research in Development (ACORD) from 1998 to 2010 (chair from 1999 to 2004), member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Council for International Cooperation (CCIC) from 2004 to 2009 and a founding member of the International Civil Liberties Monitoring Group (Canada).
