Molly BashawMolly Bashaw grew up on small farms in Massachusetts, upstate New York, and Vermont. She studied at the Eastman School of Music before working for twelve years in Germany as a professional bass- trombonist. In 2012-13 she served as the George BennettFellow writer-in- residence at Phillips Exeter Academy, and is currently attending graduate school in Germany. Her poetry has been awarded the Lynda Hull Memorial Prize, the River Styx International Poetry Prize, a scholarship at the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, and a Pushcart nomination.
